Intertribal Information Technology Company (IITC)/ Native American Data Conversion Program (NADCP)

The Native American Data Conversion Program (NADCP), a Congressionally sponsored program, is designed to assist Native American tribes throughout the continental United States, Native Alaskan villages and Hawaiian Homesteads. Through the NADCP initiative, four mentoring companies established in the conversion marketplace will train up to eleven tribes in remote areas with high-tech data conversion and business skills. The Intertribal Information Technology Company (IITC) is responsible for converting technical manual data for the four branches of the military from low-level source into intelligent electronic formats for use by the Warfighter. Using the intelligent electronic technical manuals resulting from this initiative, America's troops will be better equipped in the field and may ultimately improve readiness. The Native American tribes will receive valuable skills that can be used on remote reservations in the defense and private sectors while reducing the staggering 65% unemployment rates. D4's role is to serve as one of the mentoring companies that will train the tribes to do intelligent graphic conversion work.
